Lotus has just sent us an e-mail to announce their return to Indy racing.

Apparently there are going to be new cars in IndyCar racing in 2012. One of those cars is going to be from Bat Engineering, and it is Bat Sh*t crazy.

A moderator on M3post.com has chronicled the first phase of his efforts to hit 200 mph in the standing mile. It sheds light on just how much power and preparation is needed to hit that kind of speed from a standing start in a limited space.

As you may remember from yesterday, Carl Edwards intentionally wrecked into another car at 195 mph sending the car flipping.

My options: Considering that Brad wrecks me with no regard for anyones safety or hard work, should I: A-Keep letting him wreck me? B-Confront him after the race? C-Wait til bristol and collect other cars? or D-Take care of it now? I want to be clear that I was surprised at his flight and very relieved when he walked away. Many are angry at Goodyear this morning after 12 drivers at the Sprint Cup race, at Atlanta Motor Speedway, were affected by their inadequacy. The Goodyear tires that the drivers used were reported to be good for the high speed, but as far as durability, they needed some work.
