While the details remain murky and the whole thing seems to have come out of nowhere, the 2012 date seems a bit more reasonable if what the promoter’s attorney says is true – that over 500 acres for the track has already been purchased.
Unlike the conflicted Financer, I’m jumping for joy at the news that Arizona, the largest user of speed cameras in the US, has abandoned the program. It’s heartening to see some indication that the US public won’t stand for camera enforcement.
I’m not sure if this is a thing to be celebrated or not, but Arizona has decided to change a law (no not that one). They have decided to end their speed camera program.
Just the other day we, and just about every other media member, reported that GM had paid back it’s loans to the federal government. They have, but it turns out that it may not exactly be what it seems to be.
Well, even though GM isn’t standing proudly, towering others….they are opening new design studios.
Despite potentially being able to pay back all the US loans early (maybe even today) GM is no longer in the top 10 of Fortune’s 500 list.
Despite previous reports, it seems that Hummer is really dead. We are sad.
